The Move

So we just moved out to the east coast, from Kansas.  We are loving the area, for it is more beautiful, and the cities are so close to each other, that you can drive any place quickly.

Beyond that though, I never felt at home in Kansas.  I lived there from ’93 until ’09 and never felt a connection, like I did in Minnesota.  That changed though once I got out here.  I felt at peace, like I finally live in a place that I can work and thrive in, even though we haven’t found jobs yet.

Both me and my wife are excited about our prospects out here, and she is enjoying the ability to see her sisters more often, for she has felt left out of those relationships for the past few years.  The move in addition to cheap calling rates is making her feel more involved and she is loving it.

I hope everyone we know in KS is doing well, and we may visit from time to time. Probably more at first and then barely at all, as seems to be the norm as one spends more time away.
