If you haven’t heard, Letterman apologized for the bad joke that he made about Sarah Palin’s 14 years old daughter.
He said that he had done his research to see if Palin’s daughter was 18, the only problem was was that he picked the wrong daughter to research. I think this was an honest mistake, because we all say things that come out completely wrong. It’s called being human.
Thank you, Letterman, for doing the right thing and apologizing.
Good thing for Letterman, this was something that an apology could help with. Apologies don’t work in some cases, like messing up your wife’s birthday.
