The flight started out routine, just watching movies and eating. Then with about two and a half hours left in the flight the flight attendants come on the speaker and ask if there is a doctor or someone with medical experience on board. No one seems to go, and then the guy in the couple next to me gets up and slowly walks there.

Then after some discussion there he has her go in the back with him. She looked really out of it. At that point the lady next to me says that he is just a polmologist, and so he waited to see if anyone else was going to come, at least until the wife told him he should go. (I wonder how long it would have taken if his wife hadn’t nudged him.)
Apparently, medicine is so specialized that you have to have the right doctor, otherwise, you gonna die.
I almost forgot to mention that the medical supplies on board seemed to be lacking, Delta should really look into that. The attendants were looking and looking, and I heard something about not having a key to something. Not too good.
