Have you forgotten that everyone spies on everyone. This is not new, even the best of allies, like the US and the UK, spy on each other. Why all the trouble over us spying on you? I’m sure your government spies on us, it is just the way of the world. It’s called intelligence, and it’s needed in order to figure each other’s next move.
If your technology isn’t up to par with us, is that our fault? I think not. You just need more ambitious leaders, on the world stage at least. (We all know you’re quite ambitious within the EU, but you’ve been weak internationally.)
This criticism is meant with all the love of one who’s ancestors came from your great country, because I truly do respect and love the German people.
You just have to stop whining, and start spying.
