Many movements today have taken the place of religion, and sometimes the reveal the same ugliness. The latest example is occurring out in Los Angles at the vegan restaurant Café Gratitude, and it’s all because the owners became vegan heretics.
Now you ask, what did the heretics do? Why they realized that there is no such thing as vegan, and decided to butcher animals on their personal farm, solely for their own use and to share with friends!!!! How dare they, right?
Seriously though, the owners have actually received death threats.
Given this, how is it that people actually think humanity has progressed in any sense of the word? These vegan zealots prove that we still have modern day Spanish Inquisitions and Salem witch hunts. There is no difference in the psychology of these people, then or today. If it was possible, with the backing of the law, these zealots would be fine with the killing of these heretics.
Don’t get me wrong, when I say this, it is not hyperbole. They would feel no qualms with killing these meat eating restaurant owners. The vegans and their sympathizers may say otherwise, but there is a reason why police don’t joke around about death threats.
You may not like me pointing out how humanity has not changed, but this is why I love history.
There is no difference between us and our ancestors, humans are humans. What’s funny though, is that these vegans probably believe that the people that instigated the inquisitions and the witch hunts were stupid. But then, that is also a historical belief that humanity holds to; the belief that we are smarter than our parents, and everyone that came before us.
Why do we delude ourselves with the idea of progression?
