While Merkel fiddles as Europe burns, it is nice to see that the Dutch still stand for something.

This is the way to respond to authoritarians who are overstepping their boundaries. Not like this, or this.
If you don’t know, the above tweet was the Dutch response to a Dutch reporter being arrested in Turkey. They didn’t, unlike Angela Merkel, arrest their own countryman when Turkey’s government got upset. Instead they doubled down on the rights of free speech.
Dear Deutschland, you need to take some lessons from your Germanic cousins.
