No one can spell my name. I do not know why, it’s crazy, especially since it is biblical in origination. I understand why people mispronounce my last name, because it is German in origination and most people in the US do not even contemplate other languages. My first name though is what pisses me off. What really pisses me off though is that when I tell people how to spell it, they agree that it should be easy to spell my name, but when they write it they always add the freaking ‘i’. Why, why? It makes no sense.
I think that I may just start going by a shortened version of my name, just so that it is not misspelled. That way I do not have to worry about it being misspelled. Hell…I’ll just change my last name as well, might as well start from fresh.
